Bruce G. Clinton is the founder of BusinessWise, an executive
coaching and consulting firm, which specializes in helping entrepreneurial
organizations and indidviduals solve strategic problems associated
with growth and transition. Bruce is an expert in organization and
management development, having spent over thirty years as a consultant
in the field. He has run many seminars in management/leadership
skill development and is a noted speaker who has appeared at numerous
national trade associations. He is a founding principal of ASearch,
LLC, a retained executive search firm, that uses a proprietary process
combining executive recruitment, selection, development and retention
in each search assignment removing the risk and doubt often found

Prior to founding BusinessWise, Bruce was president of Organizational
Development Associates, Inc., co-founder of Entrepreneurial Resource
Group, Inc., and the founder of Entrepreneurial Leadership Councils
dedicated to the development of peers who share the desire to build
strong organizations. Bruce has consulted and coached clients in
all sectors of businesses and industry. Many of these relationships
have been with family owned businesses in the US and Canada. His
consulting and coaching clients have included the following: human
resource companies, insurance service companies, real estate brokerage
and development companies, durable medical equipment distributors,
as well as professional organizations, distributors and manufacturers.
Among his diverse assignments was two-year relationship with a telecommunications
company. This involved the diversification of the client base from
one client to several and the selection of the new CEO. In a large
major personnel resource company, he accomplished a complete reconstruction
of the management staff and facilitated buy out of a partner, resulting
in a win-win situation for both partners. With a mid-west medical
equipment firm, Bruce developed a "Key Client" marketing
model, including the training of all personnel, which resulted in
substantial growth and profit improvement.
In his early business career, he was president of a real estate
brokerage and land development company and a partner in a residential
construction company. For a brief period, he was a registered representative
for a large financial services company, where he was #1 in life
insurance sales and 59th in total earning out of 2,000 registered
representatives.
Bruce is a graduate of Hobart College with a dual major of Economics
and Psychology. He has MBA from the University of New Haven and
has served as a commissioned Air Force Officer. He has been a incorporator
of a bank and President of the Madison Country Club. Bruce has served
on the boards of various business, non-profit and civic organizations.
He has been awarded the coaching designations of Certified Business
Coach and Registered Corporate Coach as a member of the National
Association of Business Coaches. He and his wife, Susan have five
children and three grandchildren.
